BAU
Business as usual. Learned a new acronym at work. I like it. Dave Schaeffer is a smart man. Cogent is an interesting company. I hope to work there until I can't dress myself any longer and drive down the road to the office. I like working in a NOC. Network Operation Center. 24/7/365. I like fiber optic communication systems. Good stuff. Thank you Lord Jesus for all of my blessings.
Now when it comes to Goo-Roo watching, my favorite I suppose is Uncle Dave Ramsey. I like his beans and rice program. Work every waking minute of your life and never spend a penny. And this is bascially guaranteed good Lord willing and the creek don't rise. It will take you a good twenty years or more but it is bascially guaranteed.
Now when and if and I have by the grace of God found myself on the good side of baby step seven and Dave says now is when you live the good life and give like you were never able to give before and the preachers will tell you to give even when you haven't got anything to give and the good book says the same. So now I can give a little and I know I should give more.
And it is also interesting to me how there seems to be and endless stream of goo-roos out there pitching ideas on how to easily make so much money that you can't count it all. Well I've got maybe twenty years left maybe only twenty days. My friend Tom just succumbed to the pnemonia at 64 years of age the other day out in Front Royal. I'd never even heard of Front Royal but there's a big sign over interstate 66 as you come across the bridge out of Washington DC that says Front Royal straight ahead. It will be about two hours but yes straight ahead if that is where you are going.
So right now i'm just on the working on my budget and looking at mutual funds with Dave Ramsey program. Once I get things nailed down really good and tight and get another Ridgeway book case from Haverty's and then the Denver leather recliner to read good books and the good book in then I can start to get my mind back on some more specific get rich quick schemes all while wondering how in the world there are kids that are hungry and high school graduates that are broke. I've seen young people on the internet making lots of money if it's true. I can't believe that there are not some good money making opportunities out there and it seems to me there could be a lot better business and freedom and constitutional and liberty and cash generating business education in the parochial schools of today.
