King Randall I Life Preparatory School For Boys
King Randall replies to my Cisco Scholarship idea post...
How old would the student need to be?
Hi King,
I would say as long as he can read and write and do arithmetic.
The only time age would come in to play as far as I can see would be when he started applying for remote support engineering job.
I'm not sure if there is an age requirement for these hiring companies or not.
I guess the idea would be to show maybe all of your kids that this opportunity exists and if any of them got excited about becoming a network engineer then all they have to do is go to google and go to work.
What I could do if any of the boys were excited about becoming remote support network engineers is to maybe buy a desk or two and some books for ten bucks on ebay and maybe a couple of computers and some chairs or whatever.
I guess my vision would be a network engineering department at the school that would eventually train and develop serious network engineers who work remote right there from the school and bring big paychecks into the community.
In a nutshell it boils down to this. I think there is huge career opportunity here along with potential to bring the paychecks directly into the school and community by working remote from an on-site desk right there at the school.
Of course it takes mountains of work and long term commitment and extreme dedication.
But if any kid got turned on to do this, the opportunity is there for anybody who is willing to work.
It might be a five or ten year plan for the boy or possibly a lifetime plan the way the internet is growing.
Bottom Line: Let your kids know that this opportunity exists. It's a way to make college graduate level money without taking on a single penny of debt or joining the military or even leaving Albany, Georgia, without even leaving the school. Same difficulty as college, but no debt, and can work remote from same desk at the school where you study from.
Along the lines of developing a remote workers factory right there at the school. Creating good remote work jobs right there at the school.
I think there are many opportunities such as this email that I received just today.
