Lead, Follow, or Get Out of the Way

The problem is education.  The question is curriculum.  What is education?  We have here the united States Department of Education.  Imagine it, the united States Department of Education.  Would this not be the department, the people, the men and women, and not I guess the curriculum includes teaching that there are more than two sexes.  Seems to me the Department of Education has not even read Daniel Webster's dictionary.  Certainly they have not thrown out reading and writing from the curriculum.

Sex

SEX, noun [L. sexus; from L. seco, to divide.]

1. The distinction between male and female; or the property or character by which an animal is male or female. The male sex is usually characterized by muscular strength, boldness and firmness. The female sex is characterized by softness, sensibility and modesty.

In botany, the property of plants which corresponds to sex in animals. The Linnean system of botany is formed on the doctrine of sexes in plants.

2. By way of emphasis, womankind; females.

Unhappy sex! whose beauty is your snare. Dryden.

The sex, whose presence civilizes ours. Milne.

U.S. Department of Education

Matt Furey seems to care not, or perhaps he does not care, and like me, and like Dave Ramsey, we probably both would agree that what happens in your house is more important than what happens in the White House.  And at the same time it is my understanding that some in China can't even leave their home without facial recognition approval from their smart phone.  So what is the Department of Education teaching the young men and women of George Washington's America?  Seems to me that some within that department would like to teach the young men and women of America that George Washington was not a great man.  I think Daniel Webster may have disagreed with that conjecture.
