More on Matt Furey

The Furecat is working now as I sit here and type out these words.  He's a cagey animal.  Though I have never met him, he has become my arch nemesis.  Let me go look up that word.

It does not appear in Webster's 1828 edition.

Google says the inescapable agent of someone's or something's downfall.

Or secondarily a long-standing rival; an archenemy.

On page of one hundred thirty-eight of John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress printed in 1834 in Philadelphia it says with compassionate forgiving love of even our most inveterate enemies.  I had to look up inveterate when I read that.  It means long standing or confirmed.

So I love the Furecat be he friend or foe.

A great wrestler of words.  A wordsmith wonder.  And born in the same year as myself 1963.

So he is working right now as I write these words.  He is crafting his next newsletter and I am subscribed and standing by.
